CHS Registration & Withdrawal

To better serve you, DeKalb County School District is using an online portal for all registration needs. Families no longer are required to bring documentation to the school, but complete all transactions using the online portal through Infinite Campus. The online portal services both new, returning, and transferring students to the DeKalb County School District. To complete the enrollment process for the current school year, please follow the process below.

 


To WITHDRAW from Columbia High School:

Students RETURNING to Columbia High School
  • Complete the current student annual verification in Parent Portal 
  • Required documentation for annual verification - upload these documents to Parent Portal:
    • current mortgage statement or lease showing parent/guardian name
    • one current utility bill (electric, gas, or water only) showing parent/guardian name. Telephone/cell phone, cable, or insurance bills or bank statements are NOT accepted.
    • parent/guardian current photo ID

Students NEW to DeKalb County School District
  • If a student was not enrolled in DeKalb County School District during the last school year, you must complete the online new student registration application at the DCSD site: New Student Registration Application
  • Required documentation for registration:
    • student birth certificate
    • current mortgage statement or lease showing parent/guardian name
    • one current utility bill (electric, gas, or water only) showing parent/guardian name. Telephone/cell phone, cable, or insurance bills or bank statements are NOT accepted.
    • parent/guardian current photo ID
  • PLEASE NOTE: the new student registration process takes approximately 2-3 days to complete, provided  that ALL documentation has been uploaded correctly. You will receive multiple email messages about the status of your application: (1) you have successfully submitted your application; (2) the application has been denied/approved posted/provisional approved (posted).

Students TRANSFERRING from another DCSD School
  • Complete the current student annual verification in Parent Portal; step-by-step instructions for annual verification
  • Required documentation for annual verification - upload these documents to Parent Portal:
    • current mortgage statement or lease showing parent/guardian name

Transcript Request and Enrollment Verification
  • Transcript request for former Columbia students: https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/records-and-transcripts/
  • Transcript request for current Columbia students: please see the counseling secretary.
  • To request a transcript by mail, send the complete transcript request form along with a copy of a valid, government-issued photo ID to:

Diploma Reprints
  • DCSD does not reprint diplomas.
