CHS Prom 2025 Early Dismissal Procedures

Hello Eagles,
On Wednesday, April 23rd, during their lunch wave, juniors and seniors attending prom will receive:
  • A Prom 2025 T-shirt
  • An Early Dismissal Permission Form
In order for your student to be released early on prom day, the following steps must be completed:
1. The Early Dismissal Form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
2. A copy of the parent/guardian’s ID—matching the signature on the form—must be attached.
3. The completed form and ID copy must be returned on Friday, April 25th.
This form acts as your student’s dismissal pass. Students must keep up with their form and bring it with them on prom day to be checked out. Students are also required to wear their Prom T-shirt on the day of dismissal.
Please note the following:
  • Parents/guardians will not be allowed to enter the building on prom day.
  • Parents/guardians will park on the cafeteria side of the building for early dismissal.  Security will assist you with parking.
  • Students will check themselves out and must immediately exit the campus.
  • Students will be directed to meet parents in the cafeteria parking lot after dismissal.
Failure to follow these procedures may result in the student not being permitted to leave early. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Mosley at Columbia High School. Thank you for your attention and cooperation in ensuring a smooth and safe prom experience!
